What is the design process like? What is the first step?
The first step would be to contact us and set up a consultation appointment (we can do this in person or via webchat, email or phone). In order for us to design the best product, we like to take the time to chat and really get to know our clients so that the design is unique for each event and need. We find inspiration in just about anything - from an engagement story to a piece of fabric that is near and dear. This is the fun part in custom design! After the initial meeting, The Pink Orange takes all information and brainstorms design concepts (that includes pricing) and presents ideas to you in person or via email. Once the concept has been decided and pricing is at a comfortable level, the design fun begins! Fully designed stationery is then presented, with feedback and refinement occurring before anything is printed. The finished result is unique and customized especially for the occasion, and leaves a lasting impression of creativity and amazement! I'm on a budget. Can I still work with The Pink Orange for custom stationery?
The Pink Orange is incredibly mindful of our customers' budgets and resources, and we try to incorporate various pricing options. For those who want the experience and results of custom designed wedding stationery without paying the custom price tag, we recommend you check out Clementine, our line of customizable pre-designed wedding suites.
How much does custom stationery cost?
The Pink Orange strives to provide competitive pricing for our customers, but on average, expect to pay a minimum of $20-$25 per suite for custom wedding stationery. Depending on need and event, this price can fluctuate either way.
What is the timeframe for custom stationery?
The design process for custom wedding stationery, invites and announcements takes anywhere from six weeks to two months, plus production. For Clementine customers, that time is reduced to about two to three weeks. Printing and delivery for both can take up to a month. Keep in mind that save-the-dates should be sent to guests six to nine months before your wedding or event, and invites should be sent six to eight weeks prior to the RSVP date. Consider these elements when exploring options for stationery.
