Stylish and inexpensive artwork
I'm so lucky that on a daily basis i get to design! I mean, it is what i was meant to do, it runs through my veins. Design gives me life. Although i will admit that i can sometimes get a bit crazy (according to my sweet husband) because instead of sometimes letting some things go, i tend to design everything. What can i say, occupational hazard. Ha!
True story - before i got my BFA in Graphic Design which is what i do now, i also got degrees in both Fine Arts and Interior Design. Yup, 10 year plan for me. So my head is constantly spinning with design for home, product, lifestyle, fashion - you name it. One thing i have always had a sweet spot for is artwork. Since we move to our dream house in July i've been meticulously selecting artwork for each room. To me it is a process to get the right colors, mood and motif. BUT... it can also be challenging because i like switching things up too throughout the year and i don't want to spend a fortune to do so either. I've found some really great websites but also have some great ideas to share with you to get a stylish look for less.
When it comes to frames, i'm a bit pickier and am willing to spend a bit more money. I want them to last AND look good. Quality is key here. It's a nice balance between the artwork and frame.
